Born in Kakaskasen village, Tomohon - North Sulawesi, June 14, 1948. He graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Indonesia in 1975 and obtained an LLM (Master of Laws) from Harvard Law School, USA. He served as the President Commissioner of PT Perusahaan Pengelola Aset (Persero) (2004-2008), President Commissioner of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (2001- 2004), President Commissioner of PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (2001-2008), Secretary of the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) (2001-2004 ), Deputy State Minister/Deputy Head of Investment and Development of SOE Supervision and Control, Office of the Minister of SOE (2000- 2001), Assistant of the Minister/Deputy in the Mining and Agro- Industri Business, Office of the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Utilization (1999 - 2000), Assistant of the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises/ Deputy for SOE Competitive Management Board (1998 - 1999), the Director General of State Enterprises, the Department of Finance (1995 - 1998), and Chairman of the Capital Market Supervisory Agency, the Department of Finance (1993-1995). He concurrently serves as Independent Commissioner of PT Manulife Aset Manajemen Indonesia (since 2011), Independent Commissioner of PT Agung Podomoro Land Tbk (since 2010), President Commissioner of PT Axle Asia (insurance broker) (since 2008), President Commissioner of PT Jababeka Tbk (since 2007), President Commissioner of PT Tuban Petrochemical Industries (since 2003), and President Commissio ner of PT Polychem Indonesia (since 2003). He was first appointed as Independent Commissioner since March 30, 2012 based on the Deed No 65 dated March 30,2012 made before Dina Chozie, SH, substitute of Fathiah Helmi, SH, Notary in Jakarta. In Annual General Meetings of Shareholders on May 24, 2016 based on Deed No. 71 dated May 24, 2016 approving reappointment of Mr. Bacelius Ruru as Independent Commissioner for 4 (four) years terms since the appointment date. This term is his second period serving as Independent Commissioner in the Company. Under Deed No.33 dated 15 May 2019, he was appointed as President Commissioner for the Company.

 He has no affiliation with other members of the Board of Commissioners, Board of Directors and shareholders.

Indonesian citizen and residing in Jakarta, 42 years old. He graduated from Universitas Indonesia with both undergraduate and master degrees in Accounting. He obtained State Accountant degree from Ministry of Finance, the Republic of Indonesia, in 2000. He also completed his certified examination as public accountant from Indonesian Accountant Association in 2003. Appointed as member of Audit Committee since 2013 according to the legal basis appointment of the Company’s Board of Commissioners’ Circular Resolution dated May 25, 2016. Currently he is managing several positions such as Member of Audit Committee of PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (since 2010), PT Metrodata Electronics Tbk (since 2010), PT Total Bangun Persada Tbk (since 2014). He is still an associate partner of Public Accountant Office Aria Kanaka & Partner (Firm member Ma ars SCRL) and a teaching fellow at Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Indonesia.
